AADM Monsoon Project 2010

AADM or Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management the leading non-government organization in Maharashtra for disaster management has announced the launch of Monsoon Project 2010.

Under this project the AADM is working in co-ordination with various government agencies like Brihan-Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai Police and Mumbai Fire Brigade in Mumbai and with the local administration and police authorities throughout Maharashtra and in some parts of India.

Under this project there are various teams that are formed to carry out various disaster and emergency tasks. Senior DMVs (Disaster Management Volunteers) at local level would handle control, communication and co-ordination for the project. There would be Rescue Teams, which would primarily comprise of well trained gent DMVs. The primary responsibility of these Rescue Teams would be of rescue work in case of any emergencies like flood, water logging, landslides, mudslides, storms, etc.

AADM control rooms at various levels. A local Sub-Control Room has been setup in most of areas covered by AADM, which are connected to a larger, Main Control Room which in turn would be connected to AADM Head Quarters. These Control Rooms along with AADM Head Quarters would be functional 24 x 7 throughout the 4 months of monsoon starting from June 2010 till end of September 2010.

During the same period AADM will also help the local administration and police authorities in conducting and managing the biggest religious festival of Maharashtra i.e. Ganpati Utsav lasting over almost a fortnight.

Having huge experience from similar preparatory exercises in past and taking a cue from actually participation of AADM in disasters and associated relief works (e.g. land and mud slides in Konkan in monsoon 2009, rescue operations during landslide at Saki Naka, 26th July 2005 floods, Mandharadevi Utsav, etc. this year also AADM through its Monsoon Project 2010 would give its 108% efforts for managing and surmounting difficulties posed by Monsoon 2010.

Synopsis of P. P. Aniruddha Bapu's Karya (Devotional Services of Sadguru Aniruddha Upasana Foundation and Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management)

Under the divine guidance and inspiration of Param Poojya Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu several initiatives and projects have been undertaken over the years as part of the devotional services activities by Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation (SAUF) and Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management (AADM) which is the premier non-government organization which helps general public and various government agencies in disaster management , control activities, etc.

Real life photographs of participation of DMVs in various disaster situations have also been featured in this synopsis so as to give the readers the understanding of the real hard work that the DMVs put in their work.

Today's lifestyle especially urban life style has become very hectic and pressure packed. During these times keeping oneself fit is of prime importance. 'Survival of the Fittest' has always been the rule of life and will be. There cannot be a better way to stay fit than than exercising. The importance of exercise has also been underlined by P. P. Aniruddha Bapu in the Shreemad Purushartha Grantharaj. He has also dreamt of a fit and a healthy India i.e. Aniruddha Bharat in 2025 which would be the onset of Ram Rajya.

Accordingly the Aniruddha's Institute of Yoga under the aegis of Shree Hemadpant Prachyavidya Prashala would start a Basic Course of Yoga to be conducted for the Shraddhavans.

A) Venue of Course Conduction:

1) Shree Harigurugram, Bandra (East)
2) Shree Hemadpant Prachyavidya Prashala, Juinagar.

At the start 4 batches would be inducted for the course. The Course would be conducted twice a week for every batch.

1) Details of Timings of Course at Shree Harigurugram, Bandra (East):

First batch will be for ladies which would be functional on Tuesdays & Fridays between 7 : 00 pm to 8 : 00 pm in the evening.

Second batch will be for gents which would be functional on Tuesdays & Fridays from 8 : 15 pm in the evening to 9 : 15 pm at night.

2) Details of Timings of Course at Shree Hemadpant Prachyavidya Prashala, Juinagar

First batch will be for ladies which would be functional on Saturdays between 4 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 pm in the evening.

Second batch will be for gents which would be functional on Sundays from 11 : 00 am in the morning to 1 : 00 pm in afternoon.

B) Age Limit for Course:

All the male and female Shraddhavans in the age group of 35 - 50 years can be part of this course.
Shraddhavans intending to join the course can take the Registration Form from the Mumbai CCCC Counter setup at Shree Harigurugram during Upasanas on Thursdays.

C) Fees for the Course:

Fees for the Course for the participants would be INR. 100/- only per month.

Note: As this course has limited seats, Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation will be the final decision maker in case of admissions and the rules of Foundation would be applied.

Aniruddha Bapu and activities inspired by Him. The article is about one such activity i.e. about the organization of the world record breaking Blood Donation Camp held by Shiv Sena 25th April 2010 in Mumbai at National Exhibition Centre which now finds mention in Guinness Book of World Records . Sadguru Aniruddha Upasana Foundation was at the very heart of managing the Camp. Another allied organization of SAUF namely AADM (Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management) which had also sent its number of well-trained volunteers (DMVs or Disaster Management Volunteers as they are called) have always been in the forefront in helping various police, para-military, municipal, local, state and central governement agencies in crowd control, disaster management and associated planning, disaster management training and awareness, first-aid operations (medical first response), research and rescue operations, etc. The article also contains interview of our Chief Executive Officer of our Sadguru Aniruddha Upasana Foundation (SAUF) Shri. SAUF itself also organizes an annual Blood Donation Camp in the month of April every year which is has been termed as "Model" of planning, organization and managing of a Blood Donation Camp by none other than Maharashtra Rajya Rakta Sankraman Parishad which is the nodal government agency of Government of Maharashtra for any activity concerning blood donation, storage, etc. activities.
